Jimmy has met entrepreneurs over the years who have inspired him to produce a full-length film called "A Billion Entrepreneurs", which aims to inspire others to find their true purpose in life that will eventually lead them to happier and fulfilling lives. The movie is an inspiring, feature-length documentary film where we follow real-life entrepreneurs, as they leave a trail of impact, inspiration, mentorship, and responsibility in their business and personal lives which has an effect on countless people.
Planting the seed of entrepreneurship into multiple generations can help our world evolve dramatically over the next hundreds of years. Understanding the importance of entrepreneurship is crucial for this to happen, particularly because most people consider it a way to risk money without receiving any financial reward. If entrepreneurship were not about money, so many people would be now using it as a way to improve themselves and showcase their abilities.
Humans are creative beings with an immense capacity to imagine and bring their ideas to life, but, unfortunately, financial resource is an important part of this process. Jimmy has raised enough money to generate over 120 hours of film, but now has turned to Indiegogo, a San Francisco-based crowd-funding company, for additional funds to complete post-production, secure distribution, undertake marketing and promotion, and submit to film festivals.
If the funds for ventures such as this is insufficient, people can still successfully raise money through crowd funding, which can help in extending the entrepreneurial spectrum. This would not be the first time an entrepreneur hopes to obtain the necessary funds for a worthy cause or movement, and I hope Jimmy gathers enough funding to support this project until the last phase.
Going back to entrepreneurship, I think the problem is that people are not presented with enough opportunities to learn about it because they are pre-occupied with other things, jobs specifically, in order to make a living and feed their families. But if we could only stop for a moment, we would realize that we can improve ourselves immensely by understanding our life's purpose.
Entrepreneurship may have many meanings, but simply put, it is the art that involves restless and fresh innovation that might change people’s lives forever. If everyone takes the basics and principles of entrepreneurship and transposes them into their everyday life, the society will prosper, allowing us to become successful in a particular field.
