A Billion Entrepreneurs: Planting the Seed of Entrepreneurship Into Multiple Generations

For many years, entrepreneurship has represented the effort to transform innovations into economic goods, allowing individuals to start, manage and grow their own businesses. Unfortunately, even though the entrepreneurial sector suffered drastic changes that made it the leading income source for many people, society is not appreciating the potential of entrepreneurship at its real value.

Veteran filmmaker Jimmy Newson shares similar views about entrepreneurship. "I want people to understand how invigorating it is to be an entrepreneur," says Jimmy. "I want to plant the seed of entrepreneurship into multiple generations and re-define the word 'entrepreneurship' to mean 'taking responsibility for outcomes in all areas of life.'"

Jimmy has met entrepreneurs over the years who have inspired him to produce a full-length film called "A Billion Entrepreneurs", which aims to inspire others to find their true purpose in life that will eventually lead them to happier and fulfilling lives. The movie is an inspiring, feature-length documentary film where we follow real-life entrepreneurs, as they leave a trail of impact, inspiration, mentorship, and responsibility in their business and personal lives which has an effect on countless people.

Planting the seed of entrepreneurship into multiple generations can help our world evolve dramatically over the next hundreds of years. Understanding the importance of entrepreneurship is crucial for this to happen, particularly because most people consider it a way to risk money without receiving any financial reward. If entrepreneurship were not about money, so many people would be now using it as a way to improve themselves and showcase their abilities.

Humans are creative beings with an immense capacity to imagine and bring their ideas to life, but, unfortunately, financial resource is an important part of this process. Jimmy has raised enough money to generate over 120 hours of film, but now has turned to Indiegogo, a San Francisco-based crowd-funding company, for additional funds to complete post-production, secure distribution, undertake marketing and promotion, and submit to film festivals.

If the funds for ventures such as this is insufficient, people can still successfully raise money through crowd funding, which can help in extending the entrepreneurial spectrum. This would not be the first time an entrepreneur hopes to obtain the necessary funds for a worthy cause or movement, and I hope Jimmy gathers enough funding to support this project until the last phase.

Going back to entrepreneurship, I think the problem is that people are not presented with enough opportunities to learn about it because they are pre-occupied with other things, jobs specifically, in order to make a living and feed their families. But if we could only stop for a moment, we would realize that we can improve ourselves immensely by understanding our life's purpose.

Entrepreneurship may have many meanings, but simply put, it is the art that involves restless and fresh innovation that might change people’s lives forever. If everyone takes the basics and principles of entrepreneurship and transposes them into their everyday life, the society will prosper, allowing us to become successful in a particular field.

Those interested in contributing to the production of A Billion Entrepreneurs can visit Newson's Indiegogo campaign site, www.ABEtheMovie.com, which includes an official trailer. Depending on donation levels, supporters can receive personalized copies of the DVD as well as invitations to screenings in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas and Houston.

"If you can't make a monetary contribution, please don't feel left out," Jimmy says. "You can share the Indiegogo campaign with your friends and through email, word-of-mouth, Facebook and Twitter."

The Benefits of Supplier Management

When owning a company, it can be difficult to try and take care of everything yourself. It can be hard to keep track of the little things that are extremely important. You want to be able to track all the information that you need in order to make your business successful and sometimes it requires a little help. Luckily, there are online networks you can become a part of. You can simply have the assistance you need in creating the best programs to benefit your company. Supplier management can help lighten the load of all your responsibilities and provide you with successful results. This way, you know what is working within your business and what needs to improve. This tool will help you build the business you have always wanted.

Reduce Your Risk

As an owner of a company, you need to make sure you are protecting your employees properly. The best thing for you to do is have a supplier management company come in and design a specific software that your employees can use. Having a program that educates them in certain insurances, safety precautions and diversities will create a positive work environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable. By having happy employees, you will save money and improve your reputation. You are reducing the risk of any legal issues and will bump up your status in your specific industry.

Tracking Progress

Another benefit to having designed programs is that you can choose what you want tracked or covered. You can have certain data entries filled to help you determine your progress as a company. This will allow you to make better decisions as to what can improve your business in the long run. This also benefits you in the sense that you can find what are causing certain problems within your business and terminate them a lot sooner than later. So instead of focusing on what is causing issues with your business, you can focus on how to market yourself and improve your overall quality. In the end, having all these services provided to you in one simple program or software will help you succeed. Supplier management is a benefit to your company, to your employees, and to yourself.
