Common Smart Phone Problems

Most smart phone problems occur because of physical damage to the phone. Phones are thin and delicate by design, and even dropping them a short distance can cause serious damage. Protecting the body of your phone with a case or cover is the best way to prevent it from being accidentally broken. You’ll also need to protect the screen of your phone.

Even “old-fashioned” phones need their screens to work so you can read texts or phone numbers. With touch screens, it becomes even more important to keep your screen in good working order. Luckily, many screen covers are available that can help you avoid smudges and scratches,  and help keep your display bright.

If Your Phone Is Stolen

Cellphonecases.com cases are a good way to customize your phone, making it harder for a thief to carry away and easier for you to identify. However, cell phone theft is a very real problem, and it might happen to you anywhere. It’s important that you act quickly once you discover your phone has been stolen. First, call your provider and suspend your service so the thief can’t make calls from your phone. You should also report the theft to the police so they can be on the lookout.

Some people have an app that lets them turn off their phone or delete the information on it remotely. If you don’t think you’re going to get your phone back, you should use this app so the thief can’t access your personal information. Finally, just to be safe, change any pins or passwords that were stored on your phone such as your bank accounts, email passwords, and even Facebook login information.

Listen to Security Service Advice to Keep Buildings Safe

Building managers and business owners in Colorado have the responsibility to keep properties safe. It is a priority because crime rates are steadily increasing. Proprietors and executives should not only worry about buildings, but also the people working and living there. Their belongings, business supplies, product inventory, and equipment need to be protected just as much. How can this be completed efficiently? Listen to good advice from experts providing security service in Denver. Here are some of the tips they give concerned customers.

Learn the Basics

The 2 main ways to protect a building are through implementing technology and hiring professional security guards. Combine both methods if you want to sleep better at night. Innovative technology used today includes surveillance cameras, controllable gates with access codes, motion sensors, extra lighting, and high-tech alarm systems. Think about the premises and the people that need to be kept safe. Ask yourself questions, like the following:
  • When do tenants need the most protection?
  • Do I have employees working late at night?
  • Which parking lot areas are dark?
  • Should I remove high shrubbery and bushes?
  • How many guards do I need?
  • Should I worry about burglaries, mugging, rape, or vandalism?
  • How can people access the premises and building?
  • Do access points need extra security or are they already protected?
Make sure that all your issues are addressed when selecting an effective security solution.

Change the Locks

Are you worried that a disgruntled worker or tenant may break in? Do not hesitate to change the locks. Ask a licensed locksmith or security company which locks are hard to tamper with. If you are already exchanging existing systems, why not pay a little extra for the very best. It will give you peace of mind. You should also limit who gets access to the building or important areas on the premises.

Hire Experienced Guards
Not all professionals advertising security service in Denver are worth considering. Collect referrals. Investigate at least 3 companies. You can explore their website and talk to one of their representatives. Inquire if they are BBB (Better Business Bureau) members. Make sure that all security personnel had a thorough criminal background check, received proper training, and were fingerprinted. They should be qualified to handle every situation.

On Houses and Pest Control

My husband and I have been married for 6 years and sad to say, we are still renting. We started to invest on agricultural lands last year and will continue to do so till the next 4 years. All income from the rice farms will go straight to our savings account and hopefully after a few years we can start building our dream home.

And since we haven't gathered enough funds for our dream home yet, we decided to temporarily build a small house made of wood and bamboo on the lot I inherited from my grandfather and spend each weekend there. We already chose a very plain design with a bedroom, living room and a small kitchen (not the photo at the right, haha).

The only problem I foresee with bamboo and wood houses is that they are prone to be infested by insects and critters that eat wood. These days one should not only think about people’s safety, investment should be protected too! And a house can be one of the most expensive investments there is!

Good thing there are pest control services and products available these days. Who knows what kinds of pests are lurking in your home? Ants, moths, flies, wasps, woodworm and rats…  and the list goes on! Always check your properties for signs of infestations.
